I was commissioned to create a memorial tree based off of the colors and shape in this photo of a galaxy. My daughter helped my colorblind eyes match the colors, and I love the result. This worked really well with how I do the roots on my trees anyway, and it was fun adding the bead elements as 'stars' around the base, roots, trunk, and branches of the tree.
