The Arrival of the USS New York in New York Harbor - November 2nd, 2009

This morning at approximately 8am Eastern Time the brand new USS New York, made with steel from the fallen World Trade Center, entered into New York Harbor, and then stopped briefly outside the World Financial Center and fired a 21 gun salute (the World Financial Center is immediately across the street from where the Trade Towers stood).  These are a few of the images that I took this morning of the ship coming through.

    Hey Greg, these shots of the USS New York are beautiful. Some of them are fantastice - esp. when they soldiers are standing at attention. And the whole blog is a great archive. bravo! - keep it coming.
